Really nice park that is walking / dog friendly. The surroundings are wonderful for a City park with trails close to water (that has a small population of ducks and turtles). Well worth a visit.

The Greenbelt is well maintained and beautiful. The babbling streams, the little bridges, beautiful shade trees, and wildlife hanging out, its darn near perfect.

It is so nice to have such a beautiful place to take the dogs for a walk in the village. No matter what time of year you go, its breathtaking! You will not fail to see wildlife...I especially look for the turtles. You can go past the dog park to Alcoa trails or head the opposite way, crossing the street and connect to the greenway by the courthouse. Parking there is a little easier, but also a large lot on the other end of the park off of Parnham Drive. We are there as much as possible and after 8yrs still haven't tired of it.

Living close to the west entryway of the walkway, in often ride my bike along the trail into downtown Maryville and around the lake. I often reward myself with a stop by Vienna coffee, which has bike stands adjacent to their lower patio along the walkway.

I have walked, biked on our Greenbelt for over a decade. There is nothing like having the ability to safely leave your car at multiple sites and just go!! There is a stream flowing beside the trail almost the entire time, cyclists give way to walkers and there are miles to walk and there are benches for a rest if you need it. You can also find many spots to picnic, take pictures and spot the local wild cranes. There is a new dog park separated by dog size and a place to feed ducks. Along the way you can even go off trail to eat at several restaurants or fast food places. There are water fountains, many of which have dog fountains with them. It can easily be a day trip for those new to the community especially to see Maryville and Alcoa. Bestplace ever.

My family and I have been here many, many times and it never disappoints. The kids really love the library so that's usually our reason for stopping, but the Greenway trails and duck pond, the water fountain in the pond, plus the endless miles of trails always provide lots of fun entertainment for everyone! There's plenty of room for families to ride bikes, joggers to jog, and walkers to walk. Lots of areas for kids to run and play and the ducks are always there, (even when it's cold there are still a few), just watch out for droppings in the grass & on the pathways! In the heat of Summer you can always find some shade and we often see turtles crawling around the rocks in the water. (Kids get a kick out of standing under the concrete bridge and listening to the cars above drive over us.) The high arched, wooden bridges are fun to ride over, and if you get hungry, you're a short walk from several different restaurants. Parking is limited, but we always find a spot. If you're looking for a fun place to ride bikes, this is it! If you just wanna get out of the house & let the kids explore, this is it! Overall: a fun, clean, green space with plenty of walking room; definitely check it out:)

This is a lovely park with lots of trees and greenery. Paved path that you can walk, run or ride a bike on. There are always kids playing and people just sitting and enjoying the pond.

Lovely place to take a spouse and relax with a picnic. Awesome for running and photography. The bridge to the library and gazebos are awesome for prom pics or senior pics. Just find a bench and relax and enjoy the view of the lake

I'm not sure how far it is but I do know its only two blocks from the court house off Cusick and about a block from library. I hope this helps.
