Stopped in with some friends to find a quaint brewery with friendly people and great beer. Great place to spend a few minutes or hours just hanging out and talking with friends over a cold pint.

The Bluetick Brewery abruptly shut its doors in February 2017. Although there was some suggestion that the brewery might relocate, no further information has surfaced. I would love to see the Bluetick resurface with a friendlier space and better beers. We'll see!

We went there with another couple that had been there previously, liked it and wanted to return. BB brews their own beer and has 2 or 3 others on tap-about 7 in all or more. There is no food but there was a food truck outside. Don't know if the food truck is always there but one can contact BB to find out. There was a Blue Tick hound roaming around, a very friendly dog especially if you had food. BB was very informal and a nice atmosphere. There was a band there too but that might of been because we were there on a Friday night. There is no table service and you go up to the bar to get your beer. They run a tab and you leave your credit card.

Looking for a brewery in Maryville, found this gem around the back of an old industrial building. 8 brews on tap made on the premises, plus 3 guest beers on tap. The brewer is a former chef (Blackberry Farm) with a fine palate that is reflected in the nuances of his brews. Interested conversations with him and some locals, great soundtrack in the background. Tornado blew through town while we were at the bar, power went out. But he was still able to pour beer. Waited out the storm and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Wanted to check out the local brewery. Very pleased with the beer. The environment is limited with a strong odor of the product being made. Not your high end craft brewery but its worth the trip for the beer. We were there in the afternoon so not sure what the evenings offer. There was a steady flow of people. No food, just beer .
