Love the setting, a nice cafe to sit out and relax to enjoy the magical views. Certainly, the light house is worth a visit if you are in that neck of the woods.

Did not have too much time, after all had to get to the back nine. What a beautiful setting, and view, with I had had more time to take it in.

This light house is actually a coffee shop and cafe on the 9th hole at the golf course. There is also a suite at the top for very special and wealthy travelers. If you aren't playing golf, there is a pathway to reach the lighthouse.

This is a must walk if you are staying in Turnberry. Just sit there and stare at the sea. Make sure you have spray to to protect you from midgeys.

The food was a little expensive and a little over cooked. But it has spectacular views and was worth visiting. Good staff. And service.

Sorry...open during daylight hours, as long as the golfers are on the course then the Half Way House is open.
