A small family run brewery. The owner showed us around - it was just the two of us but he took his time and made the talk very interesting. Fully recommended. The price includes a free bottle of beer.

When you're staying nearby and there's a brewery - indeed the UK's most northerly brewery - well, you've got to stop by! Very glad we did - extremely helpful and friendly people, and some superb beers. We tried I think all of them - some...More

This brewery is very small, only a handful of people are working here. This makes much of the special, almost cozy (as far as it can be) feeling of this place. Add a great, informative tour by our very nice guide (who stopped her real...More

Thank you for your great review, apologies for only replying months later, we are still learning the rope of trip advisor! We now have a distributor on the UK mainland, so if you need to replenish your stock, please look up the Scottish Beershop.

My husband and I decided to stop by and see this brewery during our cycling tour of the Highlands and Islands. As homebrewers, we were interested to see Sonny's operation. This is a true craft brewery, where ales are lovingly crafted by hand. The owner...More

Hi Valhalla! I have read about you in the book "Øyene i vest" by Kirsti MacDonald Jareg. My husband and I are currently planning a trip to Shetland in July 2016, and would like the opportunity to visit Valhalla. Would that be possible, and do you prefer a call in advance? What else would you recommend for a day on Unst? Sincerely Tove Aabakken Norway
