Car parking or bus drop off are right beside the falls. Just a quick walk to the road bridge & the falls can be viewed. Walk a little further (literally 500m) to the old bridge for a different view. Head back to the car park & follow the wooden path for 5 minutes to view the falls from an old dove cot style building

After taking a boat trip on Loch Ness, my wife wanted to see these falls. With recent heavy rains, we knew the falls would be very active. When we arrived at the designated parking area, there were several kayakers carrying the kayaks back to their cars. I wish we would have arrived a little earlier to watch them navigating the falls.
To access the falls from the parking lot, there is a trail just to the left of the information sign. It runs behind the building (I believe it's a Church) next to the parking area. If the water is up, you'll hear the falls getting louder as you walk down the trail.
The best views seem to be in the area of the Summer House or inside the Summer House. The Summer House is a stone building with arched windows, built right next to the falls.
Take lots of pictures. The stone arch bridge and double arch bridge are in the background.

Wow, this place is just stunning in Autumn. I hoped the pictures would do it justice but ultimately they don't encapsulate the vivid and contrasting colours.
You can park for free at the car park in Glenmoriston (known as Invermoriston on some maps), directly off the A82. It's a short walk of around 200 metres to the edge of the river and there's a short, 10 minute oval-shaped walk that takes you via an old summerhouse with great views of the A82 stone bridge (pics 3 and 4).
It can be muddy under foot and children / dogs will need supervising by the river's edge as it's a steep and perilous drop. Also, if you're completing the circuit by skirting the field, just watch out for the barbed fence as it punctured a hole in our eldest's jacket.

This is the type of rural scene that makes the Highlands of Scotland so appealing. Compared with many waterfalls this neither has any great size nor water flow- Niagara is certainly under no threat. Park you car in the village (free) and it is a 5 minute walk to the old bridge with a pleasant view . Cross this and walk back to the main road (1933 bridge) from which there are also good views. A very pleasant leisurely 30 minutes and best of all it’s both free and dog friendly.

These gals are perhaps hidden and we would have missed them if we were not with our tour guide from Alba Experiences.
We did not walk along the river as some have done, we did not have that long, our choice.
The old bridge and newer bridge are close together and is good for picture taking.
Watching the water flow and fall is quite tranquil.
I would recommend that even a short stop is taken here.

The double waterfall is really great. The first one is best seen from the famous Thomas Telford bridge. The second one is better seen from the bridge of A82. A small fence on the sidewalk of the A82 (with a sign: to the falls”) leads to a small path through the wood to the second fall.

This is a hidden gem located on the A82 between Fort William and Inverness. A road bridge crosses a very nice waterfall and some various walking areas along the river. A free car park is located in Invermoriston Village right next to the waterfall. One part of the waterfall with the road bridge is on the car park side of the A82. Crossing the A82 by foot from the car park and heading left leads to a second (older) bridge and another section of waterfall, accessible next to the nearby farmhouse via the sidewalk/pavement. I can’t be certain, but it appears someone has generously provided public access on their own land to view the older bridge waterfall, with some easy access steps and viewpoints with signposts to lead the way. We were grateful to have found this picturesque and enjoyable stopping point during our travels.

We saw various falls on holiday including Foyer Falls. We were staying at Invermoriston and popped down to see the falls on our last day. So glad we did as these were the best falls we saw all week. They are absolutely spectacular.

The falls were lovely and only a few minutes walk from the car park. Definitely worth a wee stop. There is also a cafe nearby.

Would it be possible to park with a caravan, what about leaving the caravan unhitched for a couple of hours

how long does it take to walk to the falls from the parking lot?

Only a few minutes, there is a track to the side if the toilet block which leads through the wood and to the falls. it can be very muddy so wear good boots or wellies and is quite uneven. Worth the short walk.

Sorry for answering with such a delay, probably You do not need it anymore, but anyway I would allow about one hour for the visit.

Yes, there's parking, toilets and picnic tables. All free. Trail starts at one side of the car park, actually.
