Julie planned a full Brides Day out tour for 8 of us . Picked us up at our hotel in Aberdeen , we went to Aikenshill Farm to visit with the hairy coos,I highly recommend this farm great experience , then we went To a High tea luncheon at Chloe’s . What a beautiful table was set with tea sandwiches and desserts displayed and tea served in lovely China pots and cups .
Exceeded expectations To continue the Princess theme we visited the pink castle and finally Balmoral Castle .
The bride had a spectacular day out and we did too . The extra pink goodie bags balloons and Prosecco was a very personal touch .
Julie and David made Emily’s dreams come true in Scotland

What a treat to spend 3 days with Davie! We had a great time touring St Andrews and Falkland with him! He was also very responsive and helped with golf tee times, picking a great course for us to play, as well as providing transportation to the Scottish Open. Always on time and a great person to know!

Davie was fabulous. We hired him to drive us from Ft William through Glencoe and Oban and onto Stirling. We let him guide us and he gave us information and histories of those areas along with suggestions if we wanted to revisit at another time. He asked our type of music that we liked and provided some music for the trip. He took us to see some beautiful waterfalls and highland coos. Fun day. Would definitely recommend him and Julie ( his wife, who kept in contact with us throughout all our questions). They provide customized tours in varying lengths.

We were a small group of 5 who arrived in Edinburgh ahead of a knit retreat in Shetland. We had a wonderful day out with Dave; a truly considerate host. The day was filled with laughs and great sights. Being a private tour, Dave was able to customise the day to suit our interests. Already planning to travel with Sixstar Bespoke Tours with a group of 15 in 2025.

David was wonderful! He made the day really fun and interesting! He created a completely bespoke tour that showed us Outlander filming sites while walking in the footsteps of Mary Queen of Scots.
We visited the village of Falkland (Inverness in Outlander), Midhope Castle (Outlander’s Lallybroch),
Linlithgow Palace, Blackness Castle, and Doune Castle.
Through his enthusiasm and love of history he brought a new dimension of Scottish history to light. His van was comfortable and immaculate. He brought amazing shortbread and a taste of Scotch Whisky.
I feel as we have a new friend in Scotland. This is the best day out I’ve ever had in Scotland.

I had a once in a lifetime trip to Scotland with seven wonderful family members: four nieces, two great nieces and a great-great niece. We enjoyed a seven day journey with Sixstar Coach Tours and our guide, Davie, made everyday special. He and Julie created an itinerary from the highlights we wanted to see and filled in the gaps with wonderful historical sites and breathtaking scenery. We toured castles, cruised a loch, enjoyed afternoon tea, indulged in the local whisky and fed a few of the Heilan Coos. Davie was a wonderful guide. He is very personable and he shared so much history of the sites we visited and made sure we had the Scottish experience we wanted. I would recommend Sixstar Coach Tours to anyone wanting a guided tour for a day or a month.

We requested a 7 day private tour for two in the Eastern Highlands in August. We wanted to see the Gunn Heritage Center way in the north, and a plot of land in Kelty. We also wanted to see all the sites, Castles, Gardens, Harry Potter train, Outlander sites, Loch Ness, shopping, and of course Whiski and Gin distilleries.
Davie and Julie came through with flying colors. They scheduled everything I had asked for plus more. They prepared the itinerary, lodging, and booked dinner reservations. I chose mid range accommodations. All were great and had delicious breakfasts to get our day started. The range for dinner options, went from budget friendly to upscale were fantastic. Tailoring to our preferences.
Davies professionalism and exceptional driving skills ensured that we were safe but enjoyed every mile of our adventure. We were on our own time schedule and could make any changes on our day trips. Thanks to their planning we had no problems. By the end of the week Davie was family.

My husband and I had a private 4-day tour with Davie. We sent a wish list of items we wanted to see to Julie and the two of them worked out an itinerary that allowed us to see everything on our list as well as some other amazing things they recommended.
Julie was extremely personable and planning the trip with her was an absolute delight. My only regret from our trip was that we never actually met Julie in person. Davie was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and put us at ease immediately with his charming friendly personality.
We felt very well-cared for and were given great recommendations everywhere we went. Davie was always respectful of our privacy and gave us time to ourselves at every stop.
We highly recommend Sixstar if you are looking for a customized bespoke experience that will easily meet your needs.

Davie was wonderful to work with from the instant we contacted Sixstar. Communication was easy and quick and Davie was flexible in creating an itinerary that worked for our group of 6 (with 4 teenagers). The day of the tour the weather did not cooperate, and Davie was quick to offer suggestions that would keep us out of the sleet/rain but also get us out of the van and experiencing the beauty of Scotland. All in all it was a wonderful trip and I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

From the moment Davie met us at the airport, we knew we were in for a great private tour experience. We had 20 exciting days touring Scotland, the Lake District of England, and Wales. He was not only our driver but also our tour guide. He quickly learned our interests and personalized the itinerary for us. We went to places and saw things we could not have seen on a regular tour: his knowledge of the history of the places we went was outstanding. When the weather was too bad for sightseeing outside, he had alternate places for us to go. We highly recommend Sixstar Coach Tours for an experience you will not forget.
