We drove down to Fort Augustus from Inverness for a Day out with our friends, it was brilliant weather for October so we decided to take a cruise around the Loch Ness, it was about £15 each and was an excellent trip, the boat was very clean with good facilitates, toilets, bar and various view points on the board. The... More

We did the one hour trip on Loch Ness which took us to the centre of the Loch and gave us a great view of the Castle. Terrific views all round the Loch. The skipper/guide was very informative and helpful. We were picked up from the centre of village (information centre) and taken on five minute ride to jetty. Free... More

My family and I went on this trip at the end of our day at Loch Ness. We were fortunate enough to have a guide who was involved in the student study of the Loch Ness monster back in the late 1960's and was very informative about what he had experienced, and about the Loch itself. My youngest even got... More

We booked the two hour trip which including a visit to Urquhart Castle and it was a wonderful experience. We were blessed with sun and the Loch and surrounding scenery were simply breathtaking. The cruise itself was really informative and the staff friendly. We loved the castle and could have easily stayed there longer. Fascinating insight into the history of... More

My family and I went on this boat trip last week and it was brilliant. The skipper has worked at Loch Ness for the last 49 years and was involved in the big Nessie searches. His knowledge of the area is wonderful and makes for a really enjoyable, interesting boat trip as well as being surrounded by stunning scenery.

Amongst all 5 or 6 local cruises you should favor this one at all cost. Why ? . The guide is Dick, an great old timer who spent his life since 1962 on the shores of Loch Ness looking for Nessie. He's been 100% part of the action, even features in documentaries and is a living memory of the Nessie... More

Fantastic cruise with documentary from someone who actually dedicated his life for this Loch and its legend! You purchase tickets from shop just in front of the Drumnadrochit visitor information center and get picked up by skipper himself on the hour in front of the visitor center itself. Small groups. We were heavily entertained throughout the cruise with a documentary... More

We were on holiday and had enquired about a cruise for 6 adults and 2 dogs. The lovely young lady assured us it would be fine and so we went back the following day to book. In the shop were 2 older (past retirement age) people. When we said we wanted to book and we had 2 dogs, they were... More

For the past 19 years I have taken hundreds of dogs of all sizes (for free) on my boat but always with the understanding that it was with the full agreement of the other passengers. At this time of year many of our passengers are families with children so this condition is of particular importance. This group had not just... More
