The Mirror man has left St Fillans
We were extremely disappointed that after a 2h drive that the Mirror Man was taken back by its owner...It's the owner of the Four Seasons herself who informed me about it... It was a nice and intense drive, but we would have loved to see that statue...

Ruined by noise pollution from Water Sports Centre
You need a permit to pitch a tent but you can pollute the peaceful and tranquil loch side environment with jet skis and power boats! The Water Sports Centre seem to have carte blanch in terms of times for speeding water sports even if it's raining. The continuous drone and whine of racing engines was like chain saws the whole afternoon into the evening sunsets. Completely polluted the environment and should be logged as a noise nuisance. We needed ear plugs if having an early night or afternoon siesta. Sunday seemed to be barred to water sports though. So visit Sunday. Magnificent metal structure though.

    Mirror Man or Still
No matter what you know him by it's worth stopping to see him no matter what the weather is like. He's enigmatic just standing still at the bottom end off Loch Earn and when you are there admiring him you cannot help but take in the beautiful view up the Loch.

Only stayed the one night as was en route but was completely won over not only by the incredible views from our bedroom window but also by the friendliness of the owner and staff especially to our ageing dog . The continental breakfast was first class and look forward to visiting again.

We had a fantastic two nights at the Four Seasons after our wedding. Loch Earn is a idyllic spot and the hotel has fantastic views and amazing sunsets! Swimming is a must! We stayed in the recently renovated Highland Cow room which was super comfy, lovely linen, views, soft bathrobes and some personable extra touches from the owner Sue to mark our wedding! Such a charming and friendly place to stay!

A man rising out of the lake, very odd. Everyone stops to take a photo. Sort of interesting, but don't go out of your way.

Loch Earn, south-east corner, Mirror Man.

Interesting, in the same way that "Other Place" in Crosby is, but it's just the one figure here, and smaller than the many photos might suggest.

Worth stopping if you are passing, but I'd not make a special trip.

Amazing piece of modern art in a beautiful rural location. Reminds me of Gort on the film the day the earth stood still.

Such a brilliant piece of art, stunning backdrop, a real hidden gem
Take a stroll down the main road in St Fillans from the Crieff end and you will come across this masterpiece
I can imagine it looks quite different at night!

Nice idea. In sun set a great chance for photohraphy. Pls have more ideas like this, ad more sculptures... otherwise, yep, stop by, take a picture and drive away. You will spend there max 10-15 minutes. Its a pity that the sculpture is alone, no idea why it is there, why it is called four seasons. But as I said, nice stop.
