We were extremely disappointed that after a 2h drive that the Mirror Man was taken back by its owner...It's the owner of the Four Seasons herself who informed me about it... It was a nice and intense drive, but we would have loved to see that statue...

You need a permit to pitch a tent but you can pollute the peaceful and tranquil loch side environment with jet skis and power boats! The Water Sports Centre seem to have carte blanch in terms of times for speeding water sports even if it's raining. The continuous drone and whine of racing engines was like chain saws the whole afternoon into the evening sunsets. Completely polluted the environment and should be logged as a noise nuisance. We needed ear plugs if having an early night or afternoon siesta. Sunday seemed to be barred to water sports though. So visit Sunday. Magnificent metal structure though.

No matter what you know him by it's worth stopping to see him no matter what the weather is like. He's enigmatic just standing still at the bottom end off Loch Earn and when you are there admiring him you cannot help but take in the beautiful view up the Loch.

I was over charged £70 pounds for a meal and drinks we did not have. When I questioned the bill I was told it was my fault for not noticing before I paid the final bill. There was no apology from staff member to me. What cheek.....

Pleasantly surprised to find this stainless steel "Still" man looking towards the Four Seasons Hotel with its back to Loch Earn. The hotel receptionist advised that it was commissioned by hotel owner - apparently sculptor Rob Mulholland has many works throughout the world. The statue generates a mirror like reflection.
It would be nice for passing tourists if a plaque or some form of notice was placed nearby to explain the rationale behind the sculpture - if there is one then I couldn't find it.
Food and refreshments are available at the Hotel overlooking the Loch.

We went to St Fillians, Scotland to see the mirrored man sculpture in Loch Earn. This is a sculpture of a man standing in shallow water. He is covered with rectangular pieces of mirror hooked to the body like skin. The mirrors reflect the colours of the water and the sky. The colours change as light changes. As you stand watching this extraordinary outdoor sculpture you have the 360 view of the loch, sky and hills beyond. There is parking nearby so you can get out and walk over to it. I think it is the most beautiful outdoor sculpture I have seen in Scotland.

We paid for an upgrade and it was worth it as the views over the loch were stunning. we had to climb a fair amount of stairs as there was no lift but it was worth it. Our room had a hidden entrance into bathroom and although everything was a bit dated it was still a lovely stay. Food good too.

It's a statue at the lake front before the Four Seasons Hotel. One can stop and take a photo and it's overt in 30 seconds. The lake is lovely; this statue is nothing special.
