Interesting tour through the working parts of Scotland’s oldest whiskey distillery. Finished off nicely with a couple of tasting samples. Great facilities including cafe / restaurant and shop too. Set in beautiful surroundings Glenturret is well worth a visit.

Glenkinchie Distillery or The Famous Grouse Experience? (5 Replies)
We're deciding on a day tour that includes either Glenkinchie Distillery or The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret, and would love any opinions on which whisky or whisky tour is better. If you think we should visit Glenkinchie, then should I do this through Heart of Scotland (which includes Tantallon Castle and North Berwick) or Timberbush (includes Rosslyn Chapel and the Scottish Borders)? Note: we can't take the Scotline tour of Blair Atholl due to our schedule. Any...More

Glenkinchie is quite unique as it is the only Lowland Distilery and Tantallon & North Berwick are nice places to visit as is the whole of East Lothian. But Roslynn is also unique & Scottish Borders are also well worth a visit. East Lothian may be a bit more relaxing.
