This station is unmanned and you have to purchase tickets once you are on the train, which was really easy to do as there is a ticket conductor that comes round every time the train stops. It's like stepping back in time from the outside...More

The station was opened in 1856 & was originally called Crieff Junction. It was renamed Gleneagles in 1912. The Caledonian Railway built the Gleneagles Hotel in 1925 which served as the G8 summit in 2005. It hosted the Ryder cup in 2014 when the station...More
