We walked the Birks of aberfeldy,it was really picturesque and also a testing walk of about 2.1 miles, really interesting to see that Robert Burns was inspired by some of the views over the waterfalls.great place.

Lovely woodland walk. Climbing up through the trees, great footpath and steps can be strep at parts. Well worth the climb as waterfalls are spectacular.

As a fan of Rabbie Burns, this has been on my agenda for a long time, but not managed on previous visits to the Aberfeldy area. It is a circular walk of about 2.5 miles, quite steep in places with board walkways and flights of...More

Easily reached south of Aberfeldy, good parking. Alongside the burn you'll find Rabbie Burns. Reasonable going, heavy walking boots not essential.

We were lucky enough to visit the walk/waterfall on a snowy day which added to the spectacle. It's a very challenging walk/climb but so worth it to witness the scenery and waterfalls. We also saw about a dozen deer at various locations. It's not for...More

Get yourself around this walk. Paths so no bush hiking, waterfalls, and wildlife. It gets steeo at times so need a good level of mobility. Easy to get to from our hotel and plenty of signs to it.
