Had a wee game of putting. Excellent value. The lad serving was brilliant. Course could have been a wee bit better (clover in some places) but was good fun. Ice cream at the venue was excellent. All in all a good visit

In my opinion putting greens alongside the prom are an integral part of the Great British seaside holiday, and the putting greens at Largs are a fine example of the genre. They are well kept, close to the town centre, and have wonderful views of the sea and the offshore islands. Great fun.

Went here during a family break in Largs.
Cheap and cheerful, we enjoyed playing with the sun shining and amazing view out to see. The holes were mixed in difficulty.
Even better it had a massive playground next to it for children of all ages.

As we arrived there at 14.00, the assistant was packing up for the day because, he said, it was not being used. This is 14.00 on the 12th June and a glorious warm sunny day!!!
It would be ÂŁ2 for us oldies for a round had it been open.
I hope he was only paid up to 14.00!!!

Went to putting green at Vikingar at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon in August and it was closed! Do we not want a tourist industry?!

We really enjoyed the putting green by the Vikingar Centre. It was the only place we went back for a second use. The lady running it was very helpful. Gold star!!

Went to both of these putting greens in Largs.....both were shut and looked like they hadn't been putting greens for awhile ..resulting in a very disappointed granddaughter. Please update your page !!!!

We visited the green at Mackerston rather than Vikingar as its right on the seafront with smashing views. It was sunny, what else could one want? ÂŁ7.50 for a family of four, masses of space, can go round as many times as you want to.
An ideal way to spend a May Day holiday afternoon!

We love a bit of putting and what better setting than Largs Seafront with its spectacular views and (while we were there) great weather. Good for both adults and children and good value for money. Great for families as it is next to the toilets and play area.

You'll find this in front of the Vikingar. Two sections of grass and 2 'courses' running alongside each other. Fairly flat course and some long holes but not too challenging so okay for old and young
