This is a fascinating museum with some very interesting exhibits. Not your usual modern museum with interactive displays, but full of genuine artefacts and photographs. The volunteers who run it are ex-fishermen and really happy to chat and share their stories. We spent an hour...More

The volunteer guides were a mine of information and we could have stayed a lot longer but for our kids getting a bit bored. They are a bit too used to modern, interactive exhibits to have the patience for this one.

Great little museum next to the harbour, crammed with exhibits on two floors giving a great insight into Lossiemouth old and new. It is staffed by local volunteers who are a mine of information, the admission charges are very reasonable.

So good to get first hand info about what it was like to work in the fishing in years gone by. A great way to spend an hour.
