Lochranza has only one lunch venue in early December. Thankfully it's the Isle of Arran Distillery where we got a spot-on lunch, inexpensive, in an attractive well heated modern building, with a lovely view of the rain and the wind, and were served by friendly...More

Had an enjoyable half hour browsing whiskies, bought some miniatures to try, then a Gaelic coffee in the cafe, which had a good choice of food and friendly staff. I went back the second time on a windy day of sleet and snow showers while...More

Stopped here for lunch on a wet cold day after walking in Lochranza. Quick service, lovely food and yummy cake for pudding! Clean, modern building that had a lovely atmosphere.

Take note: The Distillery tour does not include a warehouse visit. However, the people on the island (and the distillery) have been really nice. The tutor tastings are very worthwhile! You get at least (cough cough) 4 drams, 1 from each category, each category has...More

Not a bad wee tour. Guide mibbe went into a bit too much detail for the level of visitors and tended to go on a bit too much, still entertaining and obviously very knowledgable. Tasting session was good and revealed a few hidden gems from...More

I'm not a whiskey drinker so offered to be the designated driver for my husband and mum and dad. We just booked the £7 15 minute tour which doesn't take you into the distillery itself, for this you get a very informative presentation and film...More

Thank you for your review, we are really pleased that you enjoyed your visit to us! The driver's dram really is ideal so that everyone can enjoy the whisky, even if it is later when the car keys are away! Hope to welcome you back...More

Small distillery and a really informative & friendly tour by Pam. Kids aged 11-15 all enjoyed it as well. We ate lunch at the cafe too which was delicious. Distillers platter with local cheeses & salmon. Definitely recommend a visit.More

Booked a guided tour to understand more about how whisky is made. It was very interesting but the tour guide also had a great knowledge and sense of humor which made it very enjoyable. Well worth a visit.

Yes - there was someone on our tour who did this, the guide made sure to fill them a miniature bottle to take with them at the end.
