This is a obelisk war memorial which I really like as its different. The memorial is poignant and its a good tribute.

This stone obelisk is a memorial to the men of Leven who fell in the two world wars. The obelisk is surmounted on a tapered square plinth and stone rectangular base. Behind the obelisk is a memorial war with a roll of honour for the fallen. The memorial stands prominently on the corner of Victoria Road and Durie Street behind Leven Parish Church. The size and serenity of the park in which this sits helps it stand out even more.

Standing on the corner of Durie Street and Victoria Street in a small garden with plenty of seats the memorial wall and the plinth in front offer a host of names from the area for the First World War and the Second .The area is tidy and well maintained .The boundary wall memorial was added in 1950.It is a category C listed monument
