Please don't miss this stop in Lynchburg. It is located just down the road from downtown Lynchburg and the Jack Daniels Distillery. The company is run from a separate building on the property of his private residence. Upon arrival, we were first greeted by a friendly family dog in the driveway and then by Billy, the owner, at the front door of his shop. He is the sweetest man, and the epitome of southern hospitality.

Billy gave us the history of his business - a success story with the goal of making 200 cakes per month and then quickly surpassing it. He told us stories about his family and history of other Tennessee products.

We happily left the shop with pralines, whiskey balls, cakes, and a bottle of BBQ sauce. Billy was kind enough to sign and date both cakes, as he does with all in-store purchases, to keep as a memory of our ~sweet~ time with him Thank you, Billy, for an amazing experience and some very tasty treats.

If you stop by, you'll make Billy's day and in return, he will make yours.

Mr. Thomas who owns this business gives you a personal tour of his company. The tour is short in walking distance, as we were a bit surprised when we drove up to the small Cake and Candy Company. We enjoyed every minute of our tour. His cakes and candies are delicious, and we stocked up on them for friends and family. Mr. Thomas is a treasure trove of information about not only his sweet treats but also about TN. This was one of our favorite tours in all of Lynchburg. Although the taste testing wasn’t liquid, every minute of our visit was worth the trip. Don’t miss out on this tour! It’s free!

My family visited some years ago and really enjoyed it. I ordered some Whisky balls to give as gifts this year, the package just came in the mail and I could not help myself already ate one. Even better than I remember them. Amazing. Thank you so much.

If you are ever looking for something to do while in Lynchburg, please be sure to stop in here. Not only is everything they make delicious, meeting Billy put the icing on the cake(no pun intended). We have never felt more welcomed or met someone so interesting before. We came for the cake but stayed for the conversation.

If you do nothing else in Lynchburg you have to stop here. You actually drive up to their house and are greeted by a friendly dog. The owners are so friendly and chatty. Bill will tell you all about the history of the store and town. The whiskey cake is delicious and so are the pecans and chocolates. If you can’t make the drive you can order from the website. It would make an excellent Christmas gift, but going in person is best.

My family and I stopped by after visiting the Jack Daniel's Distillery and were warmly welcomed by owner Billy Thomas. What was intended to be a quick visit became an incredible tour into a kind man's dream and vision of sharing his mother's recipe with the world. The products, ranging from the candy coated pecans to delicious whiskey cakes and chocolate balls are superb! We were even allowed to sample upcoming products. Through his detailed tour one can easily tell the pride Bro. Billy takes in his product. Next time you are in Lynchburg or the surrounding area please make sure to stop by and say hi, I guarantee you these decadent treats will not disappoint!

Don't miss this place if you are in Lynchburg! We stopped by on our way out of town on Sunday afternoon, not really expecting to find anyone. However, Owner, Billy Thomas went out of his way to show us the shop and sell us some goodies. This place is a hidden gem and shouldn't be missed.

We stopped to pick up some Jack Daniels infused cakes and were met by the owner Billy who took the time to show us his business and the process on how his cakes and candies are made. He was very friendly and hospitable to us. And of course his cakes are excellent! Great stop and thanks!
