Simple and Elegant
Aug 2020
A simple, elegant and classic Celtic cross atop a tapered pedestal. The cross is decorated with low relief of intertwined ropes carved onto the arm and stem of the cross. While the shafted is inscribed with the names of the fallen of WWI. The monument is well maintained and sits in a triangular area of red gravel at the junction of High Street and Lomond Road.
