At breakfast on our way to Inverness a fellow mentioned we should stop here if we loved history. This town and palace was well with the trip off M8. Cute shops beautiful palace dating back to 1600s . I thought we stepped back in time.

This Palace was renovated by one rich and enthusiastic keeper for approx 100 years ago. The keepers decsendends still live in the palace during the off-seasons, but most of the place is open to visitors during summer.
