Great fishing on a 4 hour Catch and release session for £15.00 . John Nicol the owner is really helpful with tips and what flies to use . Its a small loch with bank and boat fishing Fly only .An honesty box if the owner is not around There is a bothy to retire to if the weather inclement and toilets . There are Rainbow ,Blue,Tiger and Brown trout in the loch .I caught 3 fish today and this is halfway through November . If you are in the area give it a shot , you wont regret it.

One of the better days of the month without the chill that we have got used to . 3 boats on the loch today and 3 bank anglers and an Osprey for added interest . There are 6 boats at individual piers making it easy to access .a car park and a bothy is available and a toilet . The owner John Nicol is very welcoming with plenty of advice . There are anchors in the boats . I fished a catch and release ticket that cost £15. I came off about 2.30 having caught and released 9 fish ,I lost 5 and had plenty of offers. the loch is full of fish and I caught Brownies Tiger trout ,Blues and Rainbows . Well worth dropping in if you are in the area .There is an honesty box in the bothy if the owner is not about .It was a delight to see the osprey catch a fish in front of me what a magnificent site .

Nice to be back after the virus restrictions were lifted . Social distancing is in place and the Bothy is closed in the meantime . 6 boats on the loch and plenty space for bank fishing . John Nicols the owner has plenty of good advice and it is possible to hire equipement from him . There are 3 ospreys visiting the loch just now and you have a good chance of seeing one through the day. I caught 1 and lost 2 last week but the other boats were into double figures . It is a shallow loch not more than 10 feet deep .Beautiful location ,a grand way to spend a day or an evening .
