Great day out. RIB trip was great fun and the skipper excellent. We were lucky with the weather but if there is any chance of rain take decent waterproofs. On the island for a few hours plenty to see and a fair amount of walking. Will go again but take a small backpack with extra food and juice there is nowhere to buy anything on the island. I have binoculars that spend 99% of their time in the drawer but were great to have today particulary as you must stay on the paths to avoid trampling puffin burrows etc. We had phone signal on the side of the island facing the mainland but not on the other and also when we went there was a one way system round the island on the paths. Our small party split up and then had trouble finding each other again later on due to no signal so if you split up plan where you will meet and when. Also there is a fog horn at each end of the island which caused confusion when we tried to say where we were doh! Still, overall a fabulous day out will return.

Really first class. Roy really knows his stuff and was very informative. The trip gave us plenty of time on the island and was great value. Will definitely do this again.

We organised this trip so that a friend who is a wheelchair user and a very keen birder could get onto the Island. At every stage, a real 'can-do' attitide was displayed and our aim was achieved in spades. I could not recommend this operatore highly enough for his care, common sense and knowledge,

Lovely day out with Rory. Lots of puffins around and artic terns, which attacked us. The boat was fast and wet, which is what we expected. Common seals looked at us with interest. Fish and chips to finish it off. Just lovely.

We visit the Isle of May a couple of times each year if possible as it never, ever disappoints. Its a fantastic place and watching the behaviour of the different birds at different times of the year is always interesting. They have everything well set up to be Covid safe, with some one way routes and all the hand-sanitising, etc you would expect,. There is also lots of fresh air, so it's a very safe place to visit. We usually try to travel over to the island with Roy on the Osprey. The RIB is a great way to travel - again very safe and so much fun. Roy is a very knowledgeable skipper and even though we've heard his 'chat' many times before, it's always good fun. This time there was an added bonus as Roy heard there had been dolphins spotted just outside the harbour. He headed out, got us into the general area and then just waited, and sure enough, they came to see us, checked us out for a while, then headed off on their way. First time we'd seen them on our way to The May. A great day - and we're booked for our second visit in July (Whales please, Roy 🤣🤣)
