We hesitated to book the trip as it rained most of the day. Forecast was for improvement on the afternoon and the office assured me by email that the trip would be going. We wore long johns and rain jackets and were comfortable for the...More

This is my second trip and it was exciting, interesting and enjoyable. The crew are calm, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They clearly enjoy their work and know their subject, and make the occasion such a great experience. Thank you.

Whilst the weather was breezy and the sea choppy the crew were excellent, ensuring everyone was OK - and we all were. The time ashore on the Isle of May is sufficient for a good walk round, time for bird spotting and generally relaxing. the...More

Despite a rough crossing over (trip had been cancelled the two days prior due to weather - many sick bags were used on our trip!) the weather brightened up once we made it to the island. We saw thousands of birds - puffins, guillemots, razorbills,...More

It's one of only two ways to get to visit The Isle of May. There is the faster Rib boat and I suppose if you're very rich and know someone with a helicopter you might blag your way on to the island. The boat trip...More

The weather is very changeable in Scotland and only had one day open to visit the Isle of May. The ride out on the very capable May Princess was a little rocky as expected. The boat had a snack bar and drinks to purchase. There...More

It is always nice to see places where nature still dominates. Before this, we have experienced many boat trips; the main reason for choosing this trip was our desire to see puffins on island. It was advertised on the web page that puffins have arrived...More

Thanks for posting your review. The puffin sightings were particularly good on the first few trips this season, albeit on the water. They don't fully settle on the Island at that stage, however we are glad you still enjoyed the trip as a whole.

Had a great trip out to the Isle of may, the boat rolled a bit on the way out but not too bad. Unfortunately due to the weather forecast our visit to the island was cut to 2 hours, still enough time to see all...More

My wife really really wanted to see Puffins. I took a day off work to visit the Isle of May onboard the May Princess. The trip had a very small attendance the day we went, I guess the rains in the morning scared everyone away....More
