Went a long way out of our way on a car journey from Aberdeen to Edinburgh as previous visit had been enjoyable. Disappointing food that had become a bit ordinary, surly non speaking waitress didn't help. Beautiful building in great location with fab views, shop...More

Fantastic little Cheese shop and cafe - we stopped for lunch and had the Macaroni special and a cheese and ham toastie. The portions were huge, food very tasty and service very friendly. Definitely recommend if you like cheese!

I love red Anster cheese and it is good to buy it from the producer. They have a good selection of artisan cheeses for sale. Very nice place to drop in for a lunch or coffee, great home baking. Plenty parking.

We visited for a quick lunch on our way to Kellie Castle. Order soup and scones which took 30 mins to arrive even though it was not busy. Quality was OK. Another 15 min wait for coffee. Not impressed.
