Stop in every chance I get....

Being a retired volunteer firefighter, I appreciate the effort it takes to keep a volunteer organization going. That is why I never go to Anstruther without stopping at the RNLI boat shed to make a purchase or two.

It was disappointing not to be able to see the boat, but I do understand the covid restrictions.

We all are enjoying our purchases and gifts, all quality material, and look forward to coming back to see the new boat soon.

Love the Lifeboat Station.

This is great for all the family. Kids love seeing the lifeboat up close and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The shop has great things to buy and it’s all going to a good cause. What’s not to love.

Thank you for such a lovely review and thank you for supporting the cause at such a challenging time. It is hugely appreciated! I will pass on your feedback to the station and shop volunteers.

Wow! Make sure you stop in to check out the story and the heroes who have saved so many lives. They are all volunteers and they need your support.

Amazing what these people do

The RNLI volunteers at Anstruther - other lifeboat stations are available - do an amazing job, whether raising funds or saving lives. Well worth a look at their 1991 Mersey class self-righting offshore lifeboat, the "Kingdom of Fife".

In the unfortunate circumstance that you ever see it in from the North Sea or the Firth of Forth, it's likely to be one of the most welcome sights in your life.

Can know to history of the Anstruther Lifeboat
Capacity : unfortunately, the exhibition corners on each floor are small spaces,
so it is not appropriate for large groups to join together at once.

We always pop in here when we are in Anstruther. Staff always nice, shop always has a nice selection of things to buy which helps the lifeboat service. The boat is always gleaming and we never get tired of seeing it.

This was a lovely little gift shop to check out but I wish it had more figurines or plush toys. It was cool to see where the money from the shop goes to: gear.

More than you'd expect ...

We were lucky enough to visit when there was a fundraiser on which made it a nice time to chat with some of the older folk who had manned the boat in years past. Even on a normal day though if you go into the gift shop they are fine to let you through and see the boat itself and get a feel for things. Quite interesting.
