The castle is right next to the train station. The castle and grounds are in excellent condition. The adjoining church and graveyard are fascinating. The walk to the Firth takes 15 minutes.

A quiet place surrounded by nature and a small town, really nice guides that can answer your questions and a superb coffee shop (ginger cake is awesome!)

What a gem this castle is. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family. The cafe in the castle serves delicious home baked cakes and the staff is very friendly.
