The castle is right next to the train station. The castle and grounds are in excellent condition. The adjoining church and graveyard are fascinating. The walk to the Firth takes 15 minutes.

Small castle but well preserved and with large, beautiful grounds! The gardens are divided into several grassy levels with an orchard at the bottom and Doocot at the far end. There is also a walled garden with plenty benches - perfect peaceful spot to grab...More

A quiet place surrounded by nature and a small town, really nice guides that can answer your questions and a superb coffee shop (ginger cake is awesome!)

What a gem this castle is. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family. The cafe in the castle serves delicious home baked cakes and the staff is very friendly.

Aberdour Castle is a lovely castle with parts of it dating back to the 12th century. The grounds are well kept and so peaceful to stroll through. A huge dovecote is a note of interest. This was my second trip (in 2013) to see it...More
