We stopped here for lunch on our way to Poole. Very friendly staff, good service and good value for money food. Very dog friendly and child friendly.

In a packed market square, with loads happening in the town, just a short level walk will find this great little pub. Good atmosphere, nice welcoming log fire - just right for a cold day.... and food that you know..... is exactly want you want at a good price and good quality. I don't eat here regularly, but when I do the experience is always the same. There's space to sit down, a good range of ales, a warm welcome and good food with good service.... try the ham baguette.... good quality ham, rustic wedges and a salad... if you've not eaten here before it's worth a try....

Best pub in Wimborne. Friendly staff!! Great Thursday night quiz, reasonably priced and great value Sunday Roast!
This pub has live music every week,wood burner for the winter time, pool table, juke box and a covered/heated outdoor space.
I have always felt very welcome in this dog friendly country pub.

This a a great place, tucked away within walking distance from the square. Good Wadsworth ales... and try their lunchtime sandwiches.... good quality, (the ham was particularly nice), I can thoroughly recommend it... and what's good about this pub apart from the food, is the friendly welcome and atmosphere at the bar - although you may not be a regular.

Beautiful pub for a cider or two, or guest ales. Welcoming landlord and bar staff. Worth a visit just for the display of flowers outside!
