We are lucky enough to have this in our local town. It gets great acts, has old world charm and the workers are mainly volunteers. Great job. Thanks you

Travelled down from Liverpool to see The Searchers at The Tivoli. Fantastic night. This is the coziest Theatre on their tour. Just saw them at the Liverpool Philharmonic on their 60's Tour, but the Tivoli is much more intimate a theatre. Staff are so helpful...More

Went to see the Frontm3n last night in this lovely old theatre. We must keep these theatres going! So many wonderful live bands and soloists play here as well as National Theatre live screenings. A great venue for a good night out.

I love, love, love the Tivoli. Quaint theatre in market town where I was brought up. Have visited many many times for films and performances. Feel really bad that I have not reviewed the theatre before and said how marvellous it is. However, visited tonight...More

TR: Elvis in Barcelona (6 Replies)
Yesterday we went to see the new Greg Miller show in the Tivoli Theatre ("The King Story"). Fantastic experience! I can recommend it to everyone :) The songs, the costumes, the dancers.... we had a great evening! There is one show daily until the end of may. And Atrapalo sells tickets for €29 instead of €55. Great value! We sat on row 15 and the view was perfect.

Rome to Barcelona + getting out of the airport (2 Replies)
i'm travelling from Rome to Barcelona on a sunday afternoon. I really want to see a flamenco performance at 18.30. My eta in Barcelona is 15.20. Is there any chance I can make the show? How long does it take to get baggage, is there customs and how long to get to the Tivoli theatre by taxi? Many thanks, the travelling theatre queen.

There is no immigration on a Rome-Barcelona flight, and customs is a walk-through unless the officials decide it is you who is going to liven up their afternoon. So it's just a matter of waiting for your bags to appear on the carousel. That's always assuming your flight is punctual - but then of course flights never get delayed, do they?
