The clock and the windows are amazing. Really enjoyed my visit. Wish the chained library had been open, but watched the history about it on the TVs. Maybe next time.

We spent a lovely afternoon with the friendly and informative team at the Minster. The highlight of our visit was the climb up to the Chained Library to learn about the polyglot bible exhibited there.

Wanted to see the famous ‘sunclock’ For ourselves. It takes a bit of working out, but a friendly local stopped to help us decipher it. Everyone is so friendly! Stayed to listen to the bells at Evensong. Wonderful.
