Great day out for all the family

This was our 2nd visit and we got lucky with the weather as it was a beautiful sunny day. A very well organised and educational conservation centre. Plenty of parking available.

Amazing day out - wonderful facilities for the primates, site very well laid out. Viewing areas are a boon, especially in month of December, when some of the animals stay inside. A 'feel good' factor to be had!

Had a wonderful few hours here. Free mobility scooter for my wife which meant she had a good time too. Loads to see and the kids loved it. Animals looked happy enough. Food was a bit expensive but not ridiculously so. Usual theme park food stuff...

A very reasonable entrance fee, superb facilities for both monkeys and visitors and the opportunity to see wild sika deer in the wetland walk area made for a very enjoyable visit to Monkey World. Arriving on a cold frosty morning just after Christmas, we strolled around reading about the monkeys ( including some of the celebrities from the TV programme}... More

Been to monkey world over 5 times now in the past two year after moving to Dorset, wonderful place! Even if the monkeys are hiding away from the horrid English weather it's always worth a walk around.

What a great day out, our 3&5 year old boys loved it, not sure I would want to spend a wet rainy day here.

Good afternoon out despite the cold. Informative talks by keepers and monkeys doing their thing. Good playground for the children as well. Lots of different monkeys and apes with lovely enclosures. The gift shop was good but can be avoided if necessary as you don't have to walk through it to get to the exit. There is a cafe too... More

Having watched Monkey Life for a long time on TV with our small boy we couldn't pass on the opportunity to see it for real during a visit to Dorset and Somerset. We arrived early-afternoon on a Friday, after whizzing across from Portsmouth, en route to Bristol. We weren't quite sure if we had left enough, or too much time... More

I love monkey world and always have done since I first went. Great place to take some photos especially the chimps and orang-utans. The staff are friendly. All the monkeys have a large enclosure with lots of things to do. Good on a dry day and have been on a wet day before which is just as good in the... More
