Watch the programme on TV (monkey life) and then visit and you will love it when you understand the backgrounds the animals have and how lucky they are to have been rescued and live at Monkey World. This is a very well run animal rescue centre that has embraced a commercial angle to generate income for their cause. The park... More

We visited monkey world as a family with A 6 and 11 year old as well as the grandparents. We all loved it. The grandparents loved searching for the monkeys they'd watched on the monkey life tv programme and the kids loved all the fabulous play areas as well as the monkeys. The enclosures are great and the monkeys all... More

Monkey world is quite nicely laid out, but your chances of seeing a monkey close up are not that great. My grandchildren got bored after a while. They liked the play area, and there are nice picnic grounds. But the monkeys made themselves scarce, sad to say.

Have been desperate to visit after watching the TV series. Well worth it. The park is set in beautiful countryside and has a lovely woodland walk through the park so you can find shade and stop for picnics or snacks. The animals were in brilliant enclosures, designed to be as natural as possible. Some people were complaining that you can't... More

Very steep in places but no warnings given, was very hard to push wheelchair in some areas. Would advise pre booking a scooter if disabled or elderly. Very interesting and several play areas for the human monkeys to let off steam! Would advise taking a packed lunch and drinks.
