Whether you are familiar with the village of Cords, or simply love all things miniature, the model village offers a realistic tour of Cords and has the architecture down to T! Very well done.

Get there early, opens at 10am. National trust so free if you are a member. Parking charges, check the website. Otherwise you can parlay Norden station at a cost if £3-20 for the day and walk to the castle. Something usually going on, this month is about Tudor England.

Just visited the "model village". It was just after some rain. Everything looked so fresh and beautiful. It certainly is a magical place

Return visit, last was a very long time ago as a nipper with my parents. This time I took my kids, aged 5, 11, 17 and my Wife. If you're expecting a huge day out, then this is not for you, but for a couple of hours fun and enjoyment at a reasonable price then go and visit. It's all... More

As I say the model village is quite small but it was very interesting, having just been to the castle, to see how it would have looked in its hey day. The whole village is neat and well kept, but unless you are using the cafe an hour is the maximum time you will need.

This model village and gardens have an undoubted quaint charm to them. The village is lovingly re-created, even though it does look a little dated now and the gardens are immaculately kept and beautiful, with plenty of games scattered around to keep the kids occupied. And yet for what it is at £12 for a family it is very over-priced.... More

Quite an interesting place, but not for my kids as they're a bit more into "doing" things than looking at things, but that's just my kids, I am sure for others it would be fun.

What a gem! Beautiful gardens, lovely food and outstanding service. Was quite surprised there was an entrance fee as at first thought it was essentially a cafe and gardens but it was beautifully maintained and in fairness that wouldn't be possible without it. Ticket valid for a week so we returned again 2 days later.

My wife and I visit many model villages while on holiday and although this one is quite small the entrance fee is also quite small but the setting is super and the attraction also incorporates other activities especially for the young at heart.
