Stayed in the cottage of a friend for 5 days on a mini golf tour and finished off with a round here on Sunday. I'd have no hesitation in playing there again. A few problems with the clubhouse but golf just fine.

1. smelling of damp in the rooms. 2.toilet/shower were not cleaned for our arrival, faeces on toilet brush and in the pan. 3.booked for a week, only could stick it up to wednesday morning. 4.complained to management to say we were not happy with the situation, they were only concerned about the possibility that we may ask for our money... I contact this company to complain neatly 4 weeks ago and they haven't bothered at all so now I am going to place this review. We were very disappointed with number 37. It wasn't worth nearly £800! 1) Didn't like not having a key to get in 2) very large thistle was growing over the step which could've given a... More

Have regularly spent our golfing trips to this place and suits our needs perfectly over the mainly years now .sadly the greens and bunkers especially were in poor condition this October with many marked GUR and apparently being made redundant which is a shame as the course itself could be very good with outstanding views more work on the greens... A very quirky golf course. First few holes are brilliant and there are some nice holes on the back nine too. Clubhouse is a bit dated, but I liked it as it reminded me of 'old school' golf. Some of the greens and bunkers weren't in great condition. But we had a great day out and the club aren't stuffy... More

Good welcome upon arrival, good value for money, goods views and some very good testing holes. Like the variety of holes offered and not a lot to dislike

Good points: Warm Welcome, Cheap, good for beginners, not stuffy, not difficult. Bad points: Poor course maintenance. Quite simply it used to be a lot better. I could go into great detail. Poor maintenance across the board. I have played here before more than once over the years and it was very disappointing. Simply, go and play at Ilfracombe. It... More

We played golf - only - no food or accommodation. Some challenging holes, but a few in the middle (5,6,7,8) are a bit boring. Beware of flying balls where fairways cross each other. Main complaint would be the condition of the bunkers. Some were marked GUR, others were not but it was difficult to see any difference between them -... More

Having been to Willingcott some 9/10 times over the last ten years for an annual golfing break in a group of up to 4 people I regret to say that our latest trip was a disappointment and unfortunately may be our last. Previously Clive and Andy have made us very welcome, we have enjoyed playing golf and then really enjoyed... More

Hi, It saddens me to to read your comments, and i have spoken to all concerned. I apologise for the standard of meals that you had during your stay. Yes, we have franchised out both the bar and the restaurant, taking the opportunity when Clive moved on, so that Andy could start to slow down. Unfortunately, the chef was not... More
