Christmas present from our children 2017. 8or9 flights cancelled so far due to 3 plus hours drive several overnight stays. upgraded to afternoon flights. extra £50. still having to drive for up to 2 hours then turning back. it was suggested that we included weekends as well, thought that it would be just added to our account due to the costs we have incurred so far, but know aerosaurus balloons want even more money off us…

Trying to book a flight when someone has purchased a morning only flight. Due to the amount of flights from Leemill Plymouth which when trying to book is almost impossible as it seems unless you upgrade to a weekend or evening flight at extra cost, there is only one flight in May,one flight in June, one flight in July and as the ticket is only valid for a year ha ha they only fly for ? 7 months. When your flight is cancelled due to weather and ticket expired guess what you can pay more again, and if they can't fly due to weather conditions unless its five times in a row then you lose your money again. This is a loss leader…

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. We feel reviews are a great help to prospective customers and as such, should be accurate and honest. We are a family run business that has won awards for customer care and take every negative review or complaint very seriously. We have been flying passengers in the South west for over 20 years and are the largest independent balloon company in this area with 9 balloons scheduling flights daily from April to October flying many thousands of passengers each season. Our website does advise that the main flying season for scheduled flights is from April to October. All our flight vouchers are valid for 12 months so whatever time of year you purchase a voucher, you will always have a full flying season to take the flight. From your review we understand that you purchased a Weekday Morning only voucher. This is our lowest cost flight option available. Flights are scheduled in each area subject to the demand experienced for them. Assuming your voucher was purchased in July 2018 and has subsequently run out in July 2019, I can see there were 20 weekday morning flights scheduled from Lee Mill that would have been available for you to book. In total, including weekday mornings, evenings and weekends, there were 80 scheduled flights in this area during the life of your voucher. We believe we offer out passenger’s flexibility by providing the opportunity to upgrade their vouchers for a small fee, if they wish to join us on one of our premium flights (weeknights and weekends). We do also contact passengers when we have late availability spaces to offer complimentary upgrades on occasion. Without your booking reference number, I cannot confirm how many times we would have contacted you with such an offer. We do ask for a minimum commitment of 5 bookings from our passengers within the life of their voucher. If we must cancel all 5 bookings due to unsafe flying conditions, we happily offer to extend the vouchers on a month by month basis to allow you to continue trying to fly. In the event that you have not secured 5 bookings prior to the expiry of your voucher, we do offer the option of a heavily reduced rate to renew the voucher for another 3 months or 12 months. We encourage flight bookings to be made three/four weeks in advance – longer if for a weekend or bank holiday. As ballooning is a popular activity, availability can be very limited if you wait until closer to the flight date to make a booking. If you would like to contact us directly and provide your booking reference number, we will be happy to review the number of cancelled bookings you received to advise if we are able to offer you the complimentary extension. Booked last year, tried at least 7 times to fly and was cancelled everytims due to weather, once after we had unloaded the basket and envelope on the field. Very happy to take their word that it was due to safety. I know nothing about ballooning and was very frustrated one day that it was too thermal when there was not a cloud in the sky and really hot. HOWEVER given lots of encouragement from the office team saying it will be worth it when we get airborne. Finally did it this month, I got to put on gloves and help inflate the envelope and after an awesome surreal evening flight had to jump out and pull ropes to spread the balloon out after landing in a rugby field at 2215 and after the whole passengers getting involved and folding a 120 foot balloon in to a bag the size of a picnic table were treated to champagne before being driven back to our cars. Rick (pilot) and the ground crew were brilliant, funny and full of knowledge. An amazing experience and nice to be involved in the set up and tidying up experience. I Highly recommend this experience but what I would advise is to book morning, evening and weekend times due to the unpredictable British weather and Be PATIENT. IT IS WORTH It!!!! …

Had this bought for my 60th Birthday, set backs on both sides Finally did the flight on my 62nd Birthday from Wheathill Golf Club, Beautiful clear skies you could Hinckley point Power station and out to the middle of the Bristol Channel.

I bought a voucher to go on a flight with my family, including 2 kids. When we finally got a flight confirmed after several cancellations due to bad weather, it turned out that it got cancelled after we boarded the balloon. What is also annoying is that you have to spend couple of hours before you actually board the basket, as we were asked to help with stretching the balloon edges across the field and with inflating the balloon. For some it may seem like fun, but trust me, it is pretty boring and made me feel that I paid £125 to enjoy my flight and not to take part in flight preparations and having to wait for 2-3 hours before I could actually board the basket. Worse thing, after we stepped out of basket-as the flight was literally cancelled few minutes after we boarded, we then needed to spend another hour and a half to deflate, fold and pack the balloon back into its container. So, we spent 5-6 hours in total without even flying. If this was a professional company, you would just be driven to the flying site, boarded the balloon and enjoyed your time for £125 you paid. At the end of the story, my husband and kids got offered to fly on a later date, but I could't any longer join them due to work commitments. Now the company is refusing to refund me for the flight voucher, as they claim the voucher is non-refundable. I booked my flight over the phone and I am sure I wasn't told about this-that the voucher was non-refundable. If I had known this, I wouldn't have booked it for myself, as I only had 2 weeks period when I could actually fly. If they were more professional and customer orientated they certainly wouldn't have to desperately hold onto £125 I paid to keep their company going.…
