This stately home not only is kept to the best tradition but each room guide is extreemly knowledgable. On a fine day wander the gardens for hours. We found the house a delight and spent more than 2 hours wandering its rooms. Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our visit to Knightshayes. I’m not too much of a house person and much prefer the gardens. The gardens are quite big and you can go on good woodland walks.

Visited Knightshayes on the way to the coast as a stop off. Good access from the M5. Very beautiful well maintained gardens and the walled gardens are magnificent. Very colourful and good balance of flowers and kitchen garden great to walk round later. Plenty of walks varying in length and the formal gardens very well maintained. Could spend hours here... We visited as a couple having recently moved to the area and it was a local box to tick. What a lovely surprise, the grounds were enormous and beautiful, it would be worth the price of parking just to stroll and interact with these. We visited the house and adored the restoration work that had been completed. We look forward... More

We loved Knightshayes Court and would advise everyone to visit. Lovely walks, and the views are magnificent. Loved the topiary fox and hounds! It's a whole day visit.

This place is rather different to most other properties in that the interior has been carefully recreated to the original designs that the family who lved there in Victorian times felt were too over the top. The redecoration has been done to an exacting standard and is splendidly colourful without being over the top. There are many beautiful details and... More

Took time out to drop into Knightshayes Court near Tiverton. It was easy to find and fortunately not crammed with people although busy enough. Although a victorian build it is in the Gothic style and with that makes it an interesting building. The grounds and formal gardens are in great shape as is the cottage walled garden. The reception area... More
