Took our family for woodland adventures in the grounds of knightshayes and they loved it. Easy to walk paths with great views as well as camp building and massive trees!! A lot of wildlife too. Dog friendly.

Best views of the valley and great place for a picnic. The walks within the grounds are nicely selected whether you like shade or sunshine. Always take well gripping shoes as some of the paths are gravel and can be slippery.

Had been here before but the weather had been atrocious so this time it was lovely to be able to walk in the gardens. The kitchen garden is lovely and well maintained. The rest of the grounds are beautiful too. Cafe was OK but not as good as other NT places we've been to.

We came here today as a day trip on our holiday! Very easy to find, and as there was an event on there were lots of staff on organising parking-and it was very well organised! Great turn out for the event despite the bad weather! As National Trust members we went round the house, which was beautiful, and full of... More

The house was very interesting and the National Trust staff were friendly and informative. Cafe... More

Visited Knightshayes on holiday with my parents, who are National Trust members. A very interesting property, unusual decoration that did split opinion in our family, lots of artefacts etc to look at. Good to see lots of different rooms open, and the kitchen/scullery that is a 'work in progress'. It was a little rainy when we visited, but I can... More

Lovely house and gardens. Really striking Gothic interior inside the house. Absolutely stunning gardens which need some time to enjoy properly.

I've visited Knightshayes Court on many occasions with friends, family or simply walking the dog. The house itself is great, I particularly like the bedrooms, especially the one they've decorated according the original designs. The formal gardens are great with many stunning plants and the estate is a great place to walk you dog. Well done National Trust.
