Providing a hands-on, practical introduction to falconry. Four people, for an hour, costs £45 in total. So whether there are one, two, three or four of you, it just costs £45.Compare this with the prices others charge and you will see what great value it is. We have access to several different flying sites, some of them deep in the heart of Exmoor. Walks here last for 90 minutes and prices vary, so look at the website for details. Ah,,,,,, that's the thing about falconry. Because it's been around for thousands of years and was the big thing right up until the 1800's, its influence is everywhere ! Something for everyone, I suppose. But of course the main thing is getting right up close...More

Nigel met up with us and the experience was very informative and enjoyable, we had hands on time with his Harris hawk Cassius. Nigel obviously has great respect for his birds. I would recommend this highly. He supplies gloves.

Thank you for this. The leather gauntlets that falconers wear is a visible testament to their respect for the hawk’s talons! However, as you saw, the hawk isn’t aggressive and just views you as a mobile perch. Glad you enjoyed it, do come again. Regards,

Thank you very much. When you come again, I'd suggest we do the longer walk, near North Molton, and you can see Cassius showing off his hunting behaviour. We have more space there, ( 700 acres) so he can really get moving. All the best,
