If you are less able this is not an easy place to get to as parking is some distance away. None the less views from the top of the Gardens across the estuary towards Teignmouth are well worth it. There are various places to sit...More

Well I never knew this was so delightful - have seen glimpses from the upperdeck of a bus but did not know how beautiful, peaceful & relaxing it would be. Just above the village of Shaldon with breathtaking views over to Teignmouth. Terraced gardens with...More

I have been visiting Sheldon for over 40years and I had never been here. What a great place, really interesting and informative. Great walk but not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Worth the effort of climbing up to gardens, especially for the view. But beware of steps with uneven surfaces that made walking with a recovering broken ankle difficult!

A beautiful walk, breath taking views, disabled access. The fact that it is free is fantastic, which encourages people to make a donation and attend again. Very well kept.
