This area has everything a walker could hope for. Easier footpaths, for those not as steady on their feet, right up to light scrambling on some paths.
The views are stunning &, although we didn’t manage to spot any seals, we really enjoyed it.
We passed groups of people having picnics, tucked away in little hiding places but we decided to visit a cafe in Mortoe when we finished, which we did.

Parked in the town for 4.40 all day though 3 hours probably enough, unless youre being cheeky and going to Woolacombe beach which is pretty close.. We spent around 3 hours in total.

signposts down are pretty sparse but common sense says head down hill.
the walk was probably our favourite of the many we did during our Devon stay, the weather was reasonable, the sun was out, but not too hot, and the views.. oh my goodness.. breathtaking.

As a long time photographer now breaking into video I was unstoppable. Over 300 in total and I could have easily shot more.

the walk itself is reasonable for most though the walk back up may be challenging for some.. its with it!

Well we have to head back because we didn’t see any seals! The views from the path are spectacular. The terrain is a little challenging at times, so I wouldn’t recommend for KS1 aged kids, especially as the path can be close to the edge.
We thoroughly enjoyed our walk though and certainly knew about it the next day.

We parked up in the carpark at Morthoe and did a circular walk past the cemetery out to the point and back again. Not particularly long but mildly challenging. There is a useful board in the carpark which suggests some trails you could take. The scenery and rock formations are stunning. If you have a dog then play the game and keep it on a lead as there is much livestock about

Absolutely stunning walk that we will be back to complete. My 11 year old and 6 year old loved the good quality geocaches on the walk too. Defo a way to get the kids going and we did 3 hours before realising we might not have time on the car park to carry on. Beautiful views and lovely weather. Can’t wait to come back

We parked in Mortehoe and the walk to Morte Point was just over a mile. We all enjoyed the walk. The views are stunning all the way along the walk and even better when you reach the point. The walk from Mortehoe wasn’t too steep so there wasn’t much complaining from the children (age 10 and 8)

Having had lunch in the local pub we walked to Morte Point. The path was easily followed and suitable for the more unsure footed amongst us. Views were lovely, as was the weather. Also lots of fungi to look at. Great walk

Fabulous views, beautiful area. Grassy paths well trodden with deviation of route in lots areas. Livestock happily grazing. Peaceful calm and definitely recommended. Well worth a visit.

A wonderful walk with varied approaches. I started at the church Morte Hoe and walked the ridge to the end. Amazing views and very impressive scenery. Loved watching the tidal race at the point. Walked back along the coast path to North Morte Farm. Path destroyed by cattle in places which is a shame and dogs have to stay on leads due to cattle. I would recommend the walk in proper gear.
