Lovely little friendly town plenty to do. Nice walk by the river. Lot of independent shops. Information centre there and plenty of parking.

Small quaint Town with History. 200 plus years ago our family was living in the villages nearby planning to return in the Spring. We now expect to stay longer - I suspect can be very busy in the summer.

Kingsbridge is in the centre of South Devon at the head of a tidal estuary. It has an excellent selection of shops together with leisure centre which has an indoor swimming pool, bowls hall and range of other activitites. Within a few miles you can be deep in the country side or on one of the sandy beaches. The boats... More

Always liked Kingsbridge. However, be warned, the High Street is steep! Lots of lovely shops and cafes.

Kingsbridge is a very pretty town, full of history and quite a steep main shopping street but, as it has a lot of unique shops, worth the climb up. For those that don't want to tackle the hill there is parking at the top - providing the market is not on. The waterside has plenty of parking, a great Tourist... More

This harbour is perfectly located for a dawn stroll as the sun rises right behind it, and the promenade is very wide so doesn't get too crowded. There are some interesting B&W buildings in town too. Just watch the seagulls don't steal your food!

We were staying nearby and visited this town regularly. It is a quaint little town and has most of what you need. The view of the estuary is better when the tide is in!

Lovely town with the estuary shops information centre and leisure centre, with pool and gym. Stayed down road at The Moorings which is fantastic. There are lots of places to eat and drink. Well worth a visit.

We stayed near this town whilst on a family holiday based in a nearby village and visited several times. It has lots of shops, both for larger grocery shops and local produce and clothes shopping and lots of places to eat offering local food at good prices. There are various water sports available from the town and enjoyable walks along... More
