We stayed near this town whilst on a family holiday based in a nearby village and visited several times. It has lots of shops, both for larger grocery shops and local produce and clothes shopping and lots of places to eat offering local food at good prices. There are various water sports available from the town and enjoyable walks along... More

We've been coming to the area for years and always enjoy a visit to Kingsbridge. Always something happening on the Embankment and just great to walk up the main street and have a coffee or lunch in the great little cafes. Normally we stay in Dartmouth when in the area, but this time we stayed just outside Kingsbridge and found... More

One of our local towns that we love. Great high street with variety of shops, some great coffee and a few really pleasant eateries and bars, plus a cozy 3 screen cinema in the old town hall!!

We visited Kingsbridge because our car got a flat tyre and we found a very good garage (R&G Motors) who kindly sorted it out very quickly. We had an hour or so to wander about while the new tyres were being fixed and found some really fab shops on the main shopping street as well as a wonderful antiques and... More

We had a two hour estuary paddle which was thoroughly enjoyable. This was suitable for all ages and Dave was very informative about the local wildlife. Great value for money!

Was here for a few days during Fairs Week so there was a good amount going on especially for children. The main street is very steep and parking a real issue. Many traditional high street shops that seemed to have vanished in bigger towns as supermarkets have taken over. Sailing and assorted water activities prevalent.
