We have been coming to Devon for six years, it's my dads holiday and his mobility restricts us at times. This year after a knee replacement he was in a better position to try a cruise, the staff were brilliant, very patient waiting for dad to walk down to the boat and helping him aboard. The cream tea was an... More

This boat passes my balcony (Dawlish) on a regular basis - always a cheerful colourful sight - my family long ago named it the Lego boat and the name has stuck with us - we always say here comes the Lego boat when it passes and the sight of it never fails to raise a smile. We saw it in... More

We get called all sorts of names but this is the first time I've heard 'The Lego Boat'. It's great that we bring a smile to your faces. One little boy in Exmouth calls us the 'Ho Ho Ho' boat because we have Santa on board in December. It nice to know that you finally made it on board after... More

Lovely trip. 2.5 hours of coastal sightseeing and all for £10. It was brilliant. Commentary was kept to interesting facts and no stupid diatribe. Staff friendly and attentive

A very enjoyable 75mins with jam and cream scone with prosecco to wash down. Weather looked changeable plenty of umbrellas at hand fortunately not needed in the end. Very good banter with fellow passengers. Good information from "Captain" about the area. Husbands seat spoilt it for him a little bit as he was frightened it would give way as the... More

Oh no, we're a really sorry about the cracked seat & I will have the crew get that sorted out. Hopefully that didn't spoil his trip too much. We're glad you enjoyed your Cream Tea & Prosecco. More

Really enjoyed our boat trip this afternoon. Nice clean boat, very good commentary, delicious cream tea, and cheerful friendly staff looking after us. We were provided with blankets on the top deck which fortunately we didn't need today. This was our first trip and was a gift but as we live in Exeter we certailnly hope to use them again... More

This was great fun and really interesting. A two hour cruise along the coast with the right level of commentary. Nice boat and great crew. A family of dolphins were spotted and the boat followed them out to sea for a while so that everybody could see them. Reasonably priced and good for all ages, this was the best thing... More

Took 3 of their boat trips, the Jurassic Coast Cruise, sadly the sea was rough and it rained a little, but that is no reflection on the boat trip, in calmer seas and better weather it would be a lovely trip. There were still things to see even in the less than the good conditions. Sadly, the cream teas at... More

Wow, you managed to fit a lot into your week. It's a shame that the weather sometimes hides the glory of the Jurassic Coast, hopefully you can come back again and fully experience it. More

Quite a drizzly and windy night, but not a problem. The top of the boat is open but below there is plenty of covered space and it is heated! The bar wasn't expensive, we had a curry/chilli buffet and sweet which was very tasty. Overall a great trip up the River Exe, great to see all the properties you can't... More

We had a short trip up the river with Ian Stewart at the helm. He gave a really interesting commentary pointing out the villages on the riverside and Brunel's last remaining pumping station for his atmospheric railway. We passed Powderham Castle and the oldest yacht club in Britain at Starcross. The Tudor Rose is a very smooth and quiet boat.... More

I booked a trip around the River Exe. We were given a discount with our Owner's Privilege Pass from Devon Cliffs (useful tip for the many owners). Really sensible & serious queuing system to embark. The ship's driver (pilot?) obviously loves his job and gave a great running commentary, not too much info, enough to focus you on interesting points.... More

Thank you for your lovely review. As you have seen with all the construction work going on at the marina we take our passengers safety very seriously even before they set foot on the boat & have organised our queuing system accordingly. We are glad you enjoyed your cruises & remembered to use your Owners Privilege Discount. Hopefully we will... More
