Devon's multi-award-winning all-weather day out for the whole family! You can ride on the deer train or take a goat for a walk! Get up close to the animals in the pet centre or burn off some energy in one of the three different soft play areas, Pirate Ship Adventure or outdoor adventure playground. There's also a museum of farming and an indoor Victorian Street, featuring a dairy, cottage & pub! The vintage & classic car collection features vehicles that have appeared in Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge & Parade's End. Then there's the steam engines and Reg Imray motorcycle collection. To top it all off there are daily ferret, lamb or duck racing shows and the excellent Hawkridge Bird of Prey flying display. Refuel at Farmer Lee's Food Barn restaurant or grab some local food to go from the Pasty Shack! With so much to see, come rain or shine, can you do it all in a day?!

Visited with husband and my 2 year old son and my sister and her husband and their 1 year old daughter. Lots to do. A nice museum, good soft play and bouncy castle and lots of animals to see. Also loved the duck races and outdoor sand pit. However the birds of prey show left us a little frightened. The... More

Great to hear you enjoyed your day with us. Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the Hawkridge Birds of Prey flying display - it is one of the most popular activities at the park mainly due to the fact that the birds do get very close. In the display you attended, Echo the owl - a regular in the flying... More

This place was fabulous to take my 4 grandchildren and combined history with farm animals and imaginative play. The kids loved walking goats and feeding deer and llama, There is an indoor pirate ship which kept them happy for ages as well as the slides and indoor exhibits.

We stayed close by in the haven site so walked to the world of country life. Having been here previously about 15-20 years ago it was lovely to go. It's full of interesting museum pieces small and large. Great for families of all ages and probably any weather as there are attractions inside and out. Lots of animals to see... More

I visited World of Country life, 12 years ago, I was so impressed I decided to return on my recent trip to Lands End even though it was quite a drive. The exhibitions were just as good if not better than I remembered, and based on these alone this review would be five star. Unfortunately we decided to have a... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. Great to hear you enjoyed your visit - sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the food in the restaurant. Our burgers are usually one of our most popular dishes - they are 100% pure beef from a local butcher - and our pasta bolognaise is home-cooked fresh and is again, usually very popular.... More

We fed dear, Larmas, held a bald eagle. Had a laugh with crazy golf and some mad rides. The kids entertained all day and not many places can say that.
