Devon's multi-award-winning all-weather day out for the whole family! You can ride on the deer train or take a goat for a walk! Get up close to the animals in the pet centre or burn off some energy in one of the three different soft play areas, Pirate Ship Adventure or outdoor adventure playground. There's also a museum of farming and an indoor Victorian Street, featuring a dairy, cottage & pub! The vintage & classic car collection features vehicles that have appeared in Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge & Parade's End. Then there's the steam engines and Reg Imray motorcycle collection. To top it all off there are daily ferret, lamb or duck racing shows and the excellent Hawkridge Bird of Prey flying display. Refuel at Farmer Lee's Food Barn restaurant or grab some local food to go from the Pasty Shack! With so much to see, come rain or shine, can you do it all in a day?!

Fantastic so much to do, although half our party had to leave early to take our eldest granddaughter to hospital who had a suspected wrist break! Which was confirmed at Exeter Hospital! But the rest of us thought it was amazing,

Today after hearing mixed reviews I though we would try World of Country Life. It was brilliant! So much to do and very interactive my 20 month old loved it. Worth the extra money for the tractor ride to feed animals too!

Lovely place to visit. Staff all very friendly, very clean , lots of hand washing facilities around. Was nice to look around the old fashioned exhibition as we entered, my daughter who is 8 loved looking at the old fashioned dolls and buggies. My daughter got to bottle feed a 4 week old calf so she enjoyed coming here. Bird... More

Took children of various ages and had a really enjoyable full day, something for all of them to do. Also plenty of seating for the less able in our party. Food was ok price as well.

Visited the WoCL with my family whilst on holiday in Exmouth. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the place. My daughter throughly enjoyed engaging & feeding all of the animals and paying the extra for the tractor ride to see the deer, is a must! A once in a lifetime experience to feed and see red deer up... More

There is plenty to see and do at this attraction, if it is raining then the indoor play barn will keep the kids happy, if it is dry then the goats, and the tractor rides, plus birds of prey are well worth a visit.

A slightly random combination of activities but great for all weathers. The ferret racing and goat walking is a must. The photos with the birds of prey were an added benefit too!

This place looks good on the website so I'd wanted to visit with my toddler for a while and so we took the opportunity to break up our drive home from a holiday in devon by stopping here. But what a disappointment it was. The whole place has a dated feel about it - such as the old fashioned outdoor... More

Very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit. This is very unusual. Our outdoor play area is usually very popular with toddlers as are the 3 different indoor soft play areas, the full-sized pirate ship play area and all the daily activities - bottle feeding calves, walking a pygmy goat on a lead, small animal handling and ferret racing....
