Yes, it is. I am not only a beginner but also afraid of horses and already 52 years old... I only did it because my daughter wanted to go and there had to be two riders... I had an angel of a horse.:-) And we only walked for an hour (no running) which was very relaxing even for my daughter who is very good in riding.
