The cycle route is tarmac, apart from one short gravel section, and with very little gradient. Good views along the way, some sections in cuttings as you may expect on an old railway track. Two viaducts on the way and there is a short detour...More

Nice easy flat walk. Good for dog to just run with no worry of traffic. Come here at least once a week to walk the dog. Peaceful and beautiful views. Good for cycling too

Great place to ride especially if you have young ones in your group as it's traffic free. Some beautiful scenery on route and my 6year old daughter loved the bridge's.

Excellent views, a very level cycle path unusual for this area, fine unless you don't like heights as the meldon viaduct is quite spectacular.
