I walked to Point Park from the Incline Railway upper station. The National park was great with fantastic views and friendly park rangers. After spending time reading about the Battle Above the Clouds I wanted to get a better perspective of these events. I thought...More

The Battles for Chattanooga is a must see prior to a visit to Point Park. The presentation uses a diorama and digital projection to tell the history of the battles in Chattanooga. Even if you are familiar with the battles, you will still enjoy the...More

I'm really glad we went to this before we went to Point Park across the street. It gives you a good overview of the battles of Chattanooga during the Civil War and especially helps you in understanding the geography of the battles. Then you can...More

I want to be clear that this review is for the museum, not the park. The museum is a “gift shop” which charges you over $10 to watch a 30 min diorama with lights show narrating the civil war battles in the area. Basically, it...More

Being a fan of all things history, I enjoy checking places like this out. It has the information about the battles for Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Chickamauga, etc. Right outside is some great ice cream too! If you like civil war souvenirs, they have that too.

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Chattanooga. One of the things i was looking forward to the most was this atttraction. I was disappointed. It was informative. It helped explain what happened at the battles. The display though is the battlefield which...More

I'm sure if you have an interest in the American Civil War this would be very interesting, however it's not my thing at all so found myself drifting off. Seems well done though
