Visited here for the first time today and every as a 21 year old I loved every minute. All the staff here were lovely. The animals are amazing. So many animals to cuddle and stroke had to work really hard to get cuddles with Dylan and Fusilier it took a lot of persuasion. The pig racing was fun and something... More

Visited earlier this week and was taken aback by the friendly staff. Loads to do and great for kids of all ages. Only problem was we visited off season so there was a lot that we couldn't do due to maintenance. Totally understandable and didn't put us off.

Hi Zoe Thank you for the five star review. Unfortunately, our train broke down earlier in the week and had to be closed so I'm sorry if we didn't look as if were fully up and running. It's great to hear that you still found plenty to do though and we hope that you'll come back and see us again. More

We had an amazing day yesterday with our two children at pennywell. So much to see and do.. We couldn't have asked for more from the friendly staff who made sure both our children joined in and got to do the things they wanted. Facilities are great for little ones. I would advise doing as many of the activities as... More

I have two young children and Pennywell is our first choice for a day out. The animals and activites keep both age groups entertained . There's also play areas, cafes and trampolines etc so always plenty to do. Well worth a visit.

Animals all very cared for . Staff rude and standoffish . On a stroll through farm less then 2 hours not a lot to do , I don't know maybe better with youngsters . Cafe over priced for the stuff they serve . Definitely over priced . You can go to endsliegh and stroke the animals for free . Cannot... More

We're more than a little disappointed that you didn't seem to enjoy your visit to Pennywell. We provide a full day out with a different activity every half hour, which we feel represents good value for money. We have hundreds of farm animals that you wouldn't find at a garden centre. Sometimes we do have to accept that with the... More

Our last visit was Easter 2016 and we had a great time. Loads for the kids to do, the day was filled from start to finish. This time we visited in the first week in September, just as the schools had gone back. While there were still activities, they had been considerably pared back in frequency and many were overlapping... More

Thank you for your review. Obviously it is very disappointing for us that you didn't enjoy your visit as much this time and we'd love the opportunity to put this right if you would be kind enough to send us an email: info@pennywellfarm.co.uk Many of our visitors enjoy the quieter months as there are fewer people joining the activities and... Today, we had a wonderful family day out at Pennywell Farm - my first visit. I couldn't believe how relaxed it all was, with families milling about enjoying every opportunity to meet with the animals on a beautiful September day. The staff were attentive and great with the children. It was rather like going back in time as there was... More

Thank you for such a lovely review of your first visit - hopefully more visits to follow! September is a great month to visit, slightly quieter than August so you can spend more time with the animals. Who needs banging music when you can hear the animals communicating with each other! More

Went on a Sunday with the family and my daughter who loves all the animals - older members love the micro pigs! Unfortunately the weather was a bit drizzly but there was so much to do we still stayed all day! And we still didn't see it all. As it was raining they offered a free wet weather return within... Wow, two visits in a week! Our horses are in during the hours of 10am to 5pm for the public to see and for our pony rides, but as soon as the farm closes they all go out into the fields were they can run around and roll in the mud! They love the public attention and are often waiting... More

We visited Pennywell 1 year ago as well, and were just as delighted by the happy and lovely animals and staff. We did however miss Twiggy the elderly friendly hedgehog, we really loved her last year but she was very old, and Salt and Pepper were lovely too. I'm sure we will be back again. Thank you very much for... More
