We have been here many times, the kids love it because there is so much to play on,mainly all natural things, like ropes, trees and a pirate ship in a lake, your best to take wet suits if its not in the warm weather

The pitches at the top nearer the wardens hit have a prettier view and I expect on not such a busy time would be ideal however it was heaving with people crammed into tents and caravans and... More

Great time by the river. Clean, Safe and huge amounts of fun. So many outdoor pursuits for the whole family. Canoeing, High wires, Climbing wall, Bmx track, Zorbing, massive adventure playground. Lake obstacle course, water drop swing. Gorgeous woodland walk, The site itself is very eco friendly, with amazing ways to generate its own electricity and fuel. How could anyone... More

We stayed for 3 nights 4 days and had a lovely family holiday. The site was clean and tidy, quiet at night and the amenities were clean, showers were hot! And the washing up area was great. The children loved the playgrounds and the lake, they were however disappointed with the anaconda snake slide which is advertised as a thrilling... More

Not a regular camper and had to beg, borrow and steel various pieces of kit for the trip but glad I did. Having looked at a lot of places across the UK that would keep two girls busy this seemed a good bet! It was......... The camping pitch seemed generous and the facilities ( toilets, showers etc....) were really good.... More

Plenty to keep our 5 and 7 year old entertained for the day at this woodland adventure. We got a £4 discount by showing an online special offer at the entrance. The ice creams are amazing! The on site pub is very expensive and so would recommend bringing a picnic. Don't forget the kids swim wear/towels etc. Also worth taking... More

Having picked up a leaflet, we knew this wasn't going to be a cheap day out. We are two adults and a dare devil 8 year old who wanted to try everything! As it was, we only had time to explore the lower playground, zorbs, high ropes and some time in the river. If we'd had a wetsuit and surf... More
