Nice place

Brixham is one of those quintessential English seaside towns. You can get there using public transport or the reasonably cheap ferry service.

Lovely harbour with lots going on! So many lovely places to eat. On the day we went there were market stalls selling some lovely local art and crafts. Very pleasant area.

Brixham harbour is very traditional. There are plenty of shops and eating places for everyone. The fishing trawlers and boats are lovely to see. There is a lovely walk all around the harbour. A really buzzing little town

Fascinating harbour town with plenty of places to mooch around. Lots of places to eat with budgets for all. Definitely a working harbour - a place that's retained its character and not given way to the slot machine seaside mentality of some tourist seaside resorts. Spent a few years holidaying at Padstow which is nice but Brixham has more character.

We were really looking forward to coming here based on some family recommendations. But we didn't like it at all, very run down town, harbour was full of typical seaside resort tat shops, restaurants and coffee shops didn't look inviting at all. Parking not easy, and roads very tight. Wouldn't visit here again..Just not our sort of pretty, quality, nice... More

Brixham Harbour- Devon Even though the town was packed with visitors we were able to find a reasonably priced carpark beside the side harbour. Plenty of leisure craft there. A walk led us to the harbour at outgoing tide. We were able to wandering around the sides of the harbour, to watch the activity on the fishing boats and also... More

After reading many reviews on our beloved my wife and i,as we have never visited Brixham previously, decided to take the 25 mile drive and explore. On arrival it took us a good while to locate a car park finally parking in the large car park behind the pubs/shops facing the harbour front. The front was dotted with souvenir shops, pubs and restaurants. There are... We visit here every year for a week long break. The apartment we stay in is just a few mins walk from the town centre. The apartment is 41 moorings reach and is situated along the promenade opposite the trawlers. A luxury apartment with private parking. 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms very spacious and very clean. It also has free wifi.... More
