The Candie Gardens aren't particularly big, but are still worth a visit for a stroll around whilst in St. Peter Port. There are statues of both Victor Hugo and Queen Victoria in the park, that are nice to see, as well as nice planting and...More

This is a charming garden with interesting plants; we went in August so not many flowers in bloom, but the gardens are well tended and cared for. Just a few streets away from the main harbour road; well worth a visit.

Really peaceful, the gardens are lovely & quite large. There are different levels. There is also a restaurant/cafe. The museum is next to the cafe but we thought the admittance price was quite high so did not visit.

An ideal place to bring a book and listen to nature. Magnificent tranquil setting. Small but beautifully planned garden.

Even on a wet day the gardens are special. The views alone are worth paying a visit. A lovely spot to pause in your exploration of St Peter Port.

With the mild and exceptional weather we have had in February the gardens would be blooming with other flowers. I would say April was the best time to pay a visit for the tulips.

Sorry I wasn't looking for it - so never noticed it. The staff in the Art Gallery on the Park, should be able to let you know.

If my memory serves me correctly, the plaque is on an exterior wall, to the left of the main entrance to the museum.
