Really interesting exhibition of many facets of the history and traditions of the island. Renoir exhibition also well presented- his time on the island was prolific in output and you could get a good close-up look at his work. Only fly in the ointment was the booking system which was online only even if there were vacant slots when customers turned up so casual visitors were thwarted which was a shame for everyone. Tail wagging the dog methinks!

Fantastic museum with interesting displays. We especially love the folk tales from Guernsey. This time we visited the Renoir exhibition. This was fantastic. Really beautifully curated. An absolute joy. Our experience was greatly enhanced by the informative, interesting and helpful information from Chris who is one of the museum staff. He was an absolute gem.

When we went they also had an exhibition of Renoir art on display. You had to book a slot online as it was so popular. As we had bought Guernsey discovery pass it was free to visit. For parking you need to have a parking card on which you display the time you arrive. We parked in Upland road right near the museum. The Renoir exhibition was very interesting and his works of art are very beautiful. We were surprised that the paintings were not very big. However they were beautiful. There were other art works by other artists there to. The museum also had some very interesting exhibits about Guernsey and gave some details of the Guernsey History. It is in a beautiful setting and well worth a visit.

From the second I walked in I was impressed with the quality of the restoration. Jack (I belive, amaerican dude) who was working was extremely knowledgeable. And was more than happy chatting away with me for a while. He's a credit to the company. Will happily return in the future. Jordan

Every time I come to Guernsey, I make sure I come back here! It might be small, but it's a real treasure trove of all things related to the island and a great place for those who want to know more about Guernsey to start - I love the gallery on folklore! Museum giftshop is also great and there are beautiful gardens nearby

Interesting museum covering archeology, folklore, natural world, art and more. The old park bandstand makes a great adjoining cafe, and don’t forget to ask at the desk to visit Victoria Tower. We spent a couple of hours here.
