Found it rather pricey to view some art that a 5 year old could easily replicate (plaster of paris crisp bag, bricks, etc)! Local history was interesting, but felt that could be expanded Pleasant enough, just not quite me...

Thank you taking the time to post your review, I'm sorry you were disappointed. Guernsey Museum has just re-opened after our winter break and the current exhibition is 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year'. More

The displays were well presented and informative. Appeared that an additional gallery is being developed. You can get the key to the nearby Victoria Tower with its splendid views of the island and islands, if you can cope with the spiral stairs. The café in the museum is also pleasant as it looks out over Candie Gardens and the harbour.

Hike up a steep hill to the museum, pay £6 each to get in & then leave in less than 10 minutes later! Complete rip off, not much on Guernsey history at all. I understand the exhibitions change regularly? Not sure but the modern Brazil slum dogs photos on light boxes was rubbish as was the photo/art work of Chinese... More

I think we either misunderstood what this museum would be like, or it's still being refurbished. I expected the 'Museum of Guernsey' to have lots more about Guernsey's history, but really it only covered the Stone Age up to Roman occupation. However these were really well done and very interesting. I also liked the art gallery very much - some... More

Very little in it, alot of flint and archaelogical artefacts, basically one room of this, and a couple of art galleries. Not much value for money here!

We took our grand daughters to the Lego exhibition. They loved the work sheets and the opportunity to build simple models. We also visited The 60's exhibition sometime ago which was also excellent.

A walk to the top of the Candie Gardens and stop for refreshments gives access to the museum. High standard of exhibits for prehistory and history. Didn't over-emphasize World War 2 occupation - very balnaced.
