we had a quick snack in the café, looked at the coppersmith and then walked around the sculptures. There are some very interesting ones, some to our tastes and some not.

A very interesting tour led by the owner of the house... ..the ghost stories are intertwined with the 500 year history of the house itself and the owners own personal experiences. A glass of wine calmed our nerves after an old sword fell to the floor! Recommended for small groups who also have an interest in history and architecture. The... More

Had a lovely evening on one of Peter's "Ghost Tours." As another reviewer mentioned you also learn about the history of the house and the previous occupants. Peter has a good sense of humour which makes the visit very entertaining. We were also lucky enough to share the tour with a nice group of people.

We have just been on a ghost tour, which was hosted by the owner, the tour was full of stories and historic information, not only on the building but to the occupants who have been in residency at this delightful home. It was an honour to of been told stories by the very person who has lived and breathed Sausmarez... More

A lovely place to take the kids with a great big climbing frame. Couldn't get them out of it!! There's parking, and toilets nearby, and it's very well maintained.

Very historic manor house and grounds, built for the distinguished, seafaring De Sausmarez family. Residence of Peter de Sausmarez, he has created a most fabulous sculpture park in the grounds, there is a mini train, crazy golf, café and gift shop. There is also a Saturday morning market, selling an array of locally handcrafted and produced treasures, from award-winning cheeses... More

Very Poor Sculpture Garden wasn't worth the money. Very poor paths. Needs cleaning up. Also the Sculptures need cleaned. Looked forward to nice lunch just a run down tea room. Farmers market complete waste of time.
