Clear water, safe swimming. Interesting rocks to explore when tide goes out. Nice kiosk. Super clean. Shop just across the road which sells caps, chairs, buckets etc and reasonably priced. Sadly chip shop was closed but the Iceland shop sells sandwiches and drinks so everything near .

We having visitors to Guernsey for more than 30: years.
We consider this beach to be quintessential a 'Guernsey beach'. Sweeping sands, little bays, lots of rocks pools.
Out the way of the north and easterly winds.
It’s one of our favourites.

Leave your car in the Rockmount car park, then take a bracing walk along the lovely sandy beach to work up an appetite. We left our shoes by the steps onto the beach and of course they were there waiting for us when we returned!
Obviously not a place to walk on a wet day but when the sun is full and the sky is blue, it's great!

Very wide rugged bay, nice sands in parts, plenty of rock pools to explore, depends on which part of the bay you park.
Also has a disused coastal defence fort which you can walk onto

We loved watching the change of the tides. Lots of swimmers as the tide was coming in and lots of little kids during low tide. Gorgeous sunsets

This beach is wonderful, we walked along here in late September and even though it was quite windy the sea temperature was very mild , it’s just gorgeous.

We enjoyed a walk along the beach, the tide was a long way out reveling lots of rock pools and seaweed. We enjoyed a snack at the kiosk and shopped in a little corner shop where we found some interesting souvenirs to take home. We used the island's excellent bus service to get here at a cost of £1 per person.

We were there on a sunny day and the beach looked great, with plenty of room. There are good facilities nearby and it is accessible by bus.
