What was there was ok but there seems to be a lot of filler items that do not grip much. It’s great that bikes and tools have been saved but actually to be brutally honest I don’t want to see them unless they refer to...More

A very interesting museum with lots to see. It was easy to follow the route around and most of the exhibits were well displayed. I would have liked more information about the costumes on display, but they were still wonderful to see. The museum is...More

If you're a 'senior' this museum will generate memories to share with those visiting with you. Very welcoming staff. Lots of exhibits. Well worth the entrance fee.

We visited on a beautiful Friday and there was no one else there. As with most of the attractions on Guernsey it’s a hidden gem and it’s very worth while. I have to admit that another “folk” museum was not top of list but I...More

A very serene park with the added attraction of the museum. Well organised passage through the museum. All items outlined. Very informative and a good experience. A must visit when in Guernsey. Suitable for all age groups.

There is a lot to see in here and it is a perfect replica of Guernsey in the Victorian era. There is plenty of history in here and the place is set out like a house and beautifully represents and tells the visitors about life...More

Eve, we always like to hear that people found the museum engaging in regards to learning about the history of the people of Guernsey. As a social history museum we try and replicate as closely as possible scenes or displays from the past combined with...More

It's so easy to go to a place without really getting to know it. This museum is worth it for the tomato section alone, but the whole thing is an absolute delight! And don't miss the walled kitchen garden nearby.
