Turned up here on a Friday only to discover that there were no tours of the house, coppersmith was having a half day, required to pay to go round the gardens, cafe only had cake to eat. All in all a bit disappointing.

Open spaces, beautiful formal gardens, adventure playground and a good parking place to walk to the coast at Cobol. Don't forget to visit the wonderful walled garden which is being renovated.

Since the massive investment, this is now a terrific play area for kids. The pirate ship was a big hit!

Good well kept park, good for walking, has a large cafe that does reasonably priced breakfasts and meals, good spot for coffee

Nice wander around the park. Busy with families, ducks were providing the entertainment. I wasn't too impressed by the cafe, but was ok for a quick cup of tea.
